Jitin Sethi is a Partner in L.E.K. Consulting’s Chicago office. He leads the firm’s Education practice in the US and is also a founding member of the Global Education Practice (GEP).

Jitin has led and advised numerous education engagements across the globe, and has extensive experience across all education segments, including Education Technology, K-12, Higher Education, Transnational Education, English Language Training, and Corporate Training. Jitin focuses on the firm’s education work in the USA, where he has advised leading clients and investors on marquee deals. He works closely with private equity clients, tertiary institutions, and school companies on investment opportunities, full potential assessment, business plan development, pricing uplift opportunity, and go-to-market strategy.

Jitin brings over 15+ years of experience advising leading private equity (PE) organizations worldwide. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, providing guidance to clients on both the purchaser and vendor sides of transactions. He has advised a diverse range of global PE clients on acquisition and exit strategies, commercial due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side, growth plans, organizational restructuring, and tactical strategies including pricing, distribution, channel management, revenue management, and more.

Jitin is frequently invited to speak at leading education conferences globally about the latest trends, customer needs, perceptions, and innovation shaping the sector.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from the Indian School of Business.
